Role Overview
As a Senior Web Developer at Digitarae, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications. You will collaborate closely with designers, marketers, and project managers to deliver solutions that align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain modern, responsive websites and web applications
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement user-focused interfaces
- Optimize applications for speed, performance, and SEO
- Integrate APIs and third-party services
- Review code and mentor junior developers
- Ensure security and best development practices
- Participate in project planning and technical decision-making
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in web development
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar
- Solid understanding of backend technologies and APIs
- Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms
- Knowledge of performance optimization and security best practices
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems
Nice to Have
- Experience with PHP, Node.js, or Python
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for web development
- Experience working with cloud platforms
- Previous experience in an agency environment
