Role Overview
As a Software Engineer with a backend focus, you will design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs. You will work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and designers to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend services and RESTful APIs
- Build scalable and secure server-side applications
- Optimize database performance and data models
- Integrate third-party APIs and services
- Ensure application security and data protection
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Troubleshoot and resolve backend performance issues
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in backend software development
- Strong experience with backend languages such as Node.js, PHP, Python, or Java
- Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Solid understanding of API design and authentication methods
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Knowledge of security best practices and server architecture
